On the Water Mooring Ball Practical Exercise

WHERE: Southwest Creek Anchorage on South River

Onboard S/V Miss Adventure (Rick & Sue Fears),
River Tyme II (Ken & JoAnn Reed),
Out of the Blue (Joe & Carol Glorioso)

WHEN: Thursday, April 25th at 2:00 PM to Friday April 26th.

- Rick Fears will discuss techniques of catching a mooring ball.

- You will have your choice of joining one of our host crews for demonstration or using your boat to capture the ball during the demonstration. Remember this is intended as a practice excercise so perfect is not the expectation.

-We will hope to improve:

Communication

Piloting

Mooring double cleat knot skills

 -Demonstration will be followed by a pot luck on board rafter up - Miss Adventure, The Olive and Jupiter.

-- Miss Adventure will be monitoring VHF channels 16 & 69 on this cruise.

-So come join us for knowledge and socializing and good food.

Please bring a covered dish to share and BYOB - plates and silverware will be supplied.
